Install it like any mod. If file was done and installed correctly, so the preset name will announced in BodySlide preset listing.

BatchBuild the trunk and gear for the preset. Push button is at botton left corner of BodySlide.

Then clearly I'chiliad doing it incorrect and then? Also whenever I hit preview the torso is blackness.

You might have messed up on the installing part...

I don't know how... Bodyslide works perfectly, I just can't manage to use other people's presets. It pisses me off.

There is a known problem with Vortex and BodySlide. I am not certain if that has been fixed.

Try the following.
- Add BodySlide every bit application to Vortex. Don't just install it, but add information technology every bit awarding from the Vortex menu.
- Create an empty folder called BodySlide and Outfit Studio under Data folder.

These things have bypassed the problem before. I haven't followed Vortex development close enough to know if this is still the example. I am using Mod Organizer 2 myself.

So basically Vortex is quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and so? Also, when I preview the body it is blackness. When I play Skyrim and preview the body, it isn't blackness. I just desire to know why Bodyslide isn't working properly for Fallout 4. Information technology works dandy for Skyrim, I just don't know how to employ another individual modder'due south preset which sucks.

BodySlide works correctly for Fallout iv. Problem isn't with the application itself. Custom presets work every bit well.

Problem might exist with Vortex and BodySlide compatibility. Vortex is still in open blastoff, so problems are to exist expected.

As I said, I am using Mod Organizer two myself. I have no issues with BodySlide, or custom presets.

So should I but start from scratch? Should I download Mod Organizer 2? I have two more questions as well. Would I be able to load back my modded save files when I wipe everything? I as well simply have to download bodyslide only once and it's set for whatever other game besides Skyrim?

I would recommend request this straight from Vortex forum in Nexus forums. If you have a Discord business relationship, then you can also join to Nexus Discord server and ask nigh this in their Vortex channels.

I exercise non recommend starting over right now. If creating the empty folder didn't solve this, and so there might exist other piece of cake fashion to solve this issue. I am non using Vortex for Fallout 4, so I practise not know if there is one.

Either Tannin or testers would requite you a direct response, in Nexus forums or Discord. I strongly suggest checking from there first, before trying to start over again.

Even if I did start over I'd be able to load my modded saves right?

Yeah, if aforementioned mods are existence installed in right order.

I just asked nigh this in Vorte development channel. Tannin is online. I will mail back, if someone returns with a solution.

Obviously not an consequence with Vortex. From Tannin:

No, not a known consequence. I kind of doubt that this is actually caused by a bug in Vortex though. Vortex just installs files, there is no reason it would fail to install peel textures for BodySlide specifically.

The empty binder case was apparently something else then, which was not directly related to Vortex. Looks like something else is wrong and related to file installation, or paths.
